As I've been seriously bored this week and I really need to talk to someone so decided I could just come here and get my thoughts out, at least even if no one reply's to me I'll at least feel like I vented and got some things off my chest, so to speak, and one can only clean so much ya know???
macaddict took a promotion with his job 3 weeks ago which required him to transfer to a different facility. He went from counselor back to an officer as Sgt. at an all women's correctional facility down state. He's been there before (18 yrs ago maybe??) and worked there for 3 yrs. So, most of the people are still there back when he was. So, I guess you can say it takes some getting use to going from being with someone all the time to only seeing them on the weekends and or whenever he has time off and only able to speak to him on the phone..... and when I get to do that, he's usually exhausted from just working a double shift (16 hr.) and not the greatest conversationalist when one is that tired.

I miss him terribly and guess you really don't know how much you truly miss someone until thery're no longer there with you as much as they use to be. It's hard to believe that macaddict and I have been together a few months past 3 yrs already (how time flies) we've been through are up's and down's, sometimes more one then the other but we always somehow seem to overcome are dilemma's and move on with what is most important to us and that's each other and our daughters.

I hope whomever decides to read this blog/journal entry doesn't find this to boring, and I hope everyone is doing well and in good spirits. It's hard to believe that summer is almost over and we're exactly a month away from fall (It doesn't seem possible). Fall is my favorite time of the yr., but knowing once summer is gone from here in Upstate, NY you may as well know you're not going to see the Sun for at least another 5-6 months maybe?? It can be depressing.

Well, I need to decide what to do for dinner now....... I don't think I've had a decent meal since macaddict left, seeing he's the cook and all, don't get me wrong I do know how but he's allergic to certain things and is very picky (and so am I) and when he was still working here he was always home before I was so he always had dinner ready by the time I got home, what else could a gal ask for then that???? He's the best by far I have to say and I'm truly blessed and at peace knowing that I'll be spending the rest of my life with him and he's my life partner, as much as he may think I'm crazy at times I truly love him with all my heart and soul and wouldn't trade my life for anything else in the world.

Ok...............I'll STOP!! I think It's getting a little deep in here. It's HUMP DAY! enjoy the rest of your week and have an enjoyable weekend, I know I will macaddict will be home late Fri night early Sat Am and I'll be tucked away in bed when he gets in, but I have yet to see him in his uniform (Wooooohooo baby) with his cuffs etc., could be exciting, ya never know *Wink*

Since I've been on here and actually posted a blog... I guess I've been neglected but ever since I've gotten Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/sherishome) I guess I'm on there way more often then here and on AOL as well.

Anyhow, I hope this find everyone well and in good health and has had a great summer thus far, despite it being utterly unbearably hot at times....well, at least here in Upstate, NY it has been on occasions. It's hard to believe that fall is just over a month away, it seems summer just doesn't last long enough in these neck of the woods, and before your know it we're back to the dreary winter with no sun it seems for 6 months how depressing is that... I guess you just have to make the best of it.

Anyhow, I'm going to make this a very short post as I'm off to bed to be up at 0500am. My daughter has been with her father for the last 2 weeks in Ocean City Maryland but will be back this weekend and my sig other (Macaddict) here has taken on a promotion with his job which required him to transfer to a different facility which is 5 hours away, so he's not home during the week any longer for about 6 months until he can get transferred back to this area, so it's kinda lonely here being COMPLETELY alone, it's only been 5 days since he left and I miss him already and he will be home for the weekend tomorrow so I guess I cannot complain, but I do like time to myself also, I guess when you're use to having someone around all the time it takes some getting use to.

Well.....off to bed I go ttfn :)

I hope all are well and having a long relaxing 4th weekend. I myself am sitting outside on the deck sitting on the new patio furniture John just purchased the other day that I absolutely adore and am enjoying immensely!! It's been a gorgeous weekend so far with temps only in the Mid 70's low 80's as apposed to the 98 temp and stifling humidity that we've had 12 days straight in June. I'm so glad that broke as John is petrified and has been fretting as to what our Electricity usage/bill is going to be from having our central air on consistently during that week/ 2 weeks solid.
I truly don't mind the heat as long as there is no humidity, but being an asthmatic I cannot handle the high heat and humidity at the same time.
Well, I guess I need to get as my daughter is awaiting to go to our pool here shortly.

HFD to all the Dad's today and hope it was a great one!! I'm just sitting here relaxing after a nice weekend back home in Jersey at my sisters house for my nieces 1st birthday party, it was a blast. It actually turned into more of an overall adult party as my sister and her other half had all their friends there with a few other kids etc., lots of good food, beer, wine horeseshoe playing and bocce ball! I guess when you get a bunch of Italians together that's what happens !

Another end to a quick weekend....I hope everyone's Easter was a pleasant one, ours was kind of busy we had a wonderful lunch/dinner with macaddictand his parents and sister, it was very nice. Last night was pretty cool, we actually got to see Jupiter for the first time in our new Mede LX 90 8" Telescope w/autostar
and a few really great Celestron X-Cel eyepieces we purchased about a month ago.

Lately the weather really hasn't been to cooperative to be looking at anything, however we did get to see Saturn a few weeks ago which was phenomenal but last night was actually clear enough to few other planets. This seems to be what our
new hobby is going to be. Now of course I cannot wait for the weather to warm up so we can take it up to John's parents out in the field where we actually
can see everything! as they live out in the more country side of town and we're in the City but I'll let him talk more about it as he's the more advanced "Technical"one in the house.

Well, just thought I would wish all a Happy Easter!!

It finally looks as if spring maybe starting FINALLY!! It seems as if we've been in winter mode forever and everyone has cabin fever!! I being one. It's funny how just a touch of sun will effect peoples attitudes mood, I being one.
I just returned a few ago from my "when I can get the chance" tanning session and heading to the shower as macaddict still sleeps away.

I guess lately I've been keeping him awake at night due to my recent bought of insomnia I've been having these last few weeks and when I have to resort to medication to help, I apparently "Snore" excessively. Anyhow, I guess I better head to the shower. I'm contemplating driving down to Cortland to watch my daughters (where she's with her dad for the weekend) Ice Skating rehearsal as she has a big Ice Show coming up next weekend and the last week is packed full of dress rehearsals and practice and pictures before hand, so yet another upcoming hectic busy week ahead.

Well it's day 2 of the new year.The holidays come and go so quickly it's seems more so as each yr. passes on. Don't get me wrong I like them when they're here but thankful when it's over and can get back to the "norm" so to speak and not worry about if you did the right thing this holiday or if you got the right gift for that special person in your life or even the not so nice person in your life that you just have to seem to try to get along with even though if deep down inside you don't want anything to do with them but will go out of your way to try.

It seems it's a never ending battle in my world trying to do the right thing and never feeling as if you accomplished what it is you were trying to accomplish in the first place and all you do is seem to hurt someone's feelings and or make them feel inadequate or less of a person but when truly that was not and or is not your intention, I mean how much can one person truly handle??

I'm making no sense here but I feel like I'm not doing any good for anyone these days. Why is it that the one person you seem to love with all your heart and soul always ends up being the one you end up hurting or upsetting all the time.

God, my life seems to be one big battle after another, battling trying to make it as far as I have gotten thus far (and damn proud for even getting this far) and then when everything in your life seems to be where you have always dreamed it to be but yet your feeling as if your still battling just to have your dream(s) to have the one person in your life that you truly love and care for, to have in your life what you've wanted since you can even recall but it's just a little farther away still and an arm's reach away to still actually having what in your heart tells you "This is it" this is what you've looked for your entire life....sheeeeesh I'm really making no sense and babbling but me heart aches every day and I don't know how to express my feelings or frustrations without bringing down the one person I don't want to.

macaddict you are my soul mate and I believe that with all that I am. I'm trying so hard to do everything that I can to be patient and to not be the way that I am at times or lately it seems all the time. What's wrong with me?? Is this the actual changing point in my life??? Am I having this so called "Mid life crisis" prematurely? Or is this just a phase that I'm desperately praying will pass within time??? God only knows I guess.

I'm sorry for all the hardship I've caused or am causing.

Well, I suppose I should stop this for now, I've said to much already.

New Years Day at a glance.....

Well, Another yr. ended and a new one beginning. I have to say it's been a great yr. Yes there have been some rocky roads along the way but I'll be the first to admit that I probably could have prevented from having some of those bumps in the road to make it rocky along that way.

This yr. my resolution is to make sure everyone that's in my immediate life and those that are special and important to me know just how much they mean to me and how much I appreciate those that I've seemed to have neglected to make it known that they are appreciated. To those I've hurt or have possibly hurt along the way I'm deeply sorry.

Today I have to say was one of the best days that I've ever had from what my memory can recall, feeling like I'm actually a part of a "Family" it's been way to long for me to even remember back that far from knowing the feeling of true happiness, love, and being apart of a close family. I have one person to thank for giving me this new feeling in my life that up until almost 2 yrs. ago my life truly had no meaning for me except the one thing that gets me up every morning and keeps me going every day, my daughter..Thank you John (most of you know him as macaddict)you are by far the best thing that's EVER happened to me and the last.

I know I can be a very harsh, uncaring and sometimes a cold hearted individual but in all honesty I'm the most caring, compassionate, loving, trustworthy woman one will ever know. I give my heart only to the one that can truly capture it and macaddict you are the only one that has come into my life that has done so, hence the reasoning behind some of my jealous ways (which truly is not me) I love you.

Well, I guess I should close for now I need to get my daughter off to bed as well as join macaddict downstairs and turn in for the night. Sorry if this is to sappy and or long winded but I'm not one that expresses my feelings openly or easily but I felt a need to express some thoughts today and this is where I ended up for the outlet.
