As I've been seriously bored this week and I really need to talk to someone so decided I could just come here and get my thoughts out, at least even if no one reply's to me I'll at least feel like I vented and got some things off my chest, so to speak, and one can only clean so much ya know???
macaddict took a promotion with his job 3 weeks ago which required him to transfer to a different facility. He went from counselor back to an officer as Sgt. at an all women's correctional facility down state. He's been there before (18 yrs ago maybe??) and worked there for 3 yrs. So, most of the people are still there back when he was. So, I guess you can say it takes some getting use to going from being with someone all the time to only seeing them on the weekends and or whenever he has time off and only able to speak to him on the phone..... and when I get to do that, he's usually exhausted from just working a double shift (16 hr.) and not the greatest conversationalist when one is that tired.

I miss him terribly and guess you really don't know how much you truly miss someone until thery're no longer there with you as much as they use to be. It's hard to believe that macaddict and I have been together a few months past 3 yrs already (how time flies) we've been through are up's and down's, sometimes more one then the other but we always somehow seem to overcome are dilemma's and move on with what is most important to us and that's each other and our daughters.

I hope whomever decides to read this blog/journal entry doesn't find this to boring, and I hope everyone is doing well and in good spirits. It's hard to believe that summer is almost over and we're exactly a month away from fall (It doesn't seem possible). Fall is my favorite time of the yr., but knowing once summer is gone from here in Upstate, NY you may as well know you're not going to see the Sun for at least another 5-6 months maybe?? It can be depressing.

Well, I need to decide what to do for dinner now....... I don't think I've had a decent meal since macaddict left, seeing he's the cook and all, don't get me wrong I do know how but he's allergic to certain things and is very picky (and so am I) and when he was still working here he was always home before I was so he always had dinner ready by the time I got home, what else could a gal ask for then that???? He's the best by far I have to say and I'm truly blessed and at peace knowing that I'll be spending the rest of my life with him and he's my life partner, as much as he may think I'm crazy at times I truly love him with all my heart and soul and wouldn't trade my life for anything else in the world.

Ok...............I'll STOP!! I think It's getting a little deep in here. It's HUMP DAY! enjoy the rest of your week and have an enjoyable weekend, I know I will macaddict will be home late Fri night early Sat Am and I'll be tucked away in bed when he gets in, but I have yet to see him in his uniform (Wooooohooo baby) with his cuffs etc., could be exciting, ya never know *Wink*

Since I've been on here and actually posted a blog... I guess I've been neglected but ever since I've gotten Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/sherishome) I guess I'm on there way more often then here and on AOL as well.

Anyhow, I hope this find everyone well and in good health and has had a great summer thus far, despite it being utterly unbearably hot at times....well, at least here in Upstate, NY it has been on occasions. It's hard to believe that fall is just over a month away, it seems summer just doesn't last long enough in these neck of the woods, and before your know it we're back to the dreary winter with no sun it seems for 6 months how depressing is that... I guess you just have to make the best of it.

Anyhow, I'm going to make this a very short post as I'm off to bed to be up at 0500am. My daughter has been with her father for the last 2 weeks in Ocean City Maryland but will be back this weekend and my sig other (Macaddict) here has taken on a promotion with his job which required him to transfer to a different facility which is 5 hours away, so he's not home during the week any longer for about 6 months until he can get transferred back to this area, so it's kinda lonely here being COMPLETELY alone, it's only been 5 days since he left and I miss him already and he will be home for the weekend tomorrow so I guess I cannot complain, but I do like time to myself also, I guess when you're use to having someone around all the time it takes some getting use to.

Well.....off to bed I go ttfn :)

I hope all are well and having a long relaxing 4th weekend. I myself am sitting outside on the deck sitting on the new patio furniture John just purchased the other day that I absolutely adore and am enjoying immensely!! It's been a gorgeous weekend so far with temps only in the Mid 70's low 80's as apposed to the 98 temp and stifling humidity that we've had 12 days straight in June. I'm so glad that broke as John is petrified and has been fretting as to what our Electricity usage/bill is going to be from having our central air on consistently during that week/ 2 weeks solid.
I truly don't mind the heat as long as there is no humidity, but being an asthmatic I cannot handle the high heat and humidity at the same time.
Well, I guess I need to get as my daughter is awaiting to go to our pool here shortly.

HFD to all the Dad's today and hope it was a great one!! I'm just sitting here relaxing after a nice weekend back home in Jersey at my sisters house for my nieces 1st birthday party, it was a blast. It actually turned into more of an overall adult party as my sister and her other half had all their friends there with a few other kids etc., lots of good food, beer, wine horeseshoe playing and bocce ball! I guess when you get a bunch of Italians together that's what happens !

 Anyhow, back to work tomorrow, FUN FUN have a great start to a new week!!

Another end to a quick weekend....I hope everyone's Easter was a pleasant one, ours was kind of busy we had a wonderful lunch/dinner with  macaddictand his parents and sister, it was very nice.  Last night was pretty cool, we actually got to see Jupiter for the first time in our new Mede LX 90 8" Telescope  w/autostar
and a few really great Celestron X-Cel eyepieces we purchased about a month ago.
 
Lately the weather really hasn't been to cooperative to be looking at anything, however we did get to see Saturn a few weeks ago which was phenomenal  but last night was actually clear enough to few other planets. This seems to be what our
new hobby is going to be. Now of course I cannot wait for the weather to warm up so we can take it up to John's parents out in the field where we actually
can see everything! as they live out in the more country side of town and we're in the City but I'll let him talk more about it as he's the more advanced "Technical"one in the house.

Well, just thought I would wish all a Happy Easter!!

It finally looks as if spring maybe starting FINALLY!!  It seems as if we've been in winter mode forever and everyone has cabin fever!! I being one.  It's funny how just a touch of sun will effect peoples attitudes mood, I being one.
I just returned a few ago from my "when I can get the chance" tanning session and heading to the shower as macaddict  still sleeps away.

I guess lately I've been keeping him awake at night due to my recent bought of insomnia I've been having these last few weeks and when I have to resort to medication to help, I apparently "Snore" excessively. Anyhow, I guess I better head to the shower. I'm contemplating driving down to Cortland to watch my daughters (where she's with her dad for the weekend) Ice Skating rehearsal as she has a big Ice Show coming up next weekend and the last week is packed full of dress rehearsals and practice and pictures before hand, so yet another upcoming hectic busy week ahead.
